Question 1: Discuss the two tools that were your personal favorites from the semester and why.
Adobe Spark Video was one of my favorite tools from this semester because the app was easy to use and I think that is would be beneficial for me to use someday in my classroom. This app will give me the opportunity to change up the way I am presenting information to my students and will keep the students involved in what they are learning. Also, this app was very easy to maneuver through and I think that students would have a fun and easy time using it for projects.
This app contains even more features than I knew it had when I used it the first time and those features just add even more to it. I was very happy when we were given the opportunity to use Adobe Video again for our Celebrate Kansas Voices project because I knew what I was doing on the app and it had everything I needed in order to complete my project. This in one app that I would definitely recommend to other teachers and you can check out my tutorial over the app to learn some more information.

Another tool from this semester that was my favorite was TedEd. Just like Adobe Video, TedEd was very easy to use and would be easy for students to use. It does not take much time to create a TedEd page and it would be a very doable thing to use in my future class.
This tool is great because it allows students to dig deeper into a subject or lesson in a way that is more fun than just a worksheet. TedEd pages are extremely interactive and would keep students engaged while also teaching them. It is also nice that there is many different activities for each page so the students learn more and explore the subject it multiple different ways. It checks for knowledge of the subject with the multiple choice questions and also gives students the opportunity to share their opinion in the open discussion part. I really enjoyed making my TedEd page and I cannot wait to make ones for my future classroom!
Question 2: Reflect on what you have accomplished and learned this semester.
I would not particularily call myself a tech savvy person, I have always just been able to do the bare minimum with technology. I learned a lot from this class that I will be able to use in my future classroom and just life in general. First off, this website will be great for me to keep up with and show employers during interviews for teaching positions. Showing an interviewer all the different projects, tools, and apps that I learned about and used for this class will help to put me ahead of others applying for the same job. Also, having a website as a teacher is a great way to keep parents involved with their childs' learning and with what is going on in the classroom. Weebly is a great way to make your own website because everything is pretty self-explanatory and there are a lot of features for a free program. The biggest surprise in this class was probably how relatively easy most of the apps and programs were that we used. Since I am not the most tech savvy person I always assume that anything pertaining to technology is difficult so it was a big sigh of relief for me to find out that there are tons of apps and programs out there for teachers and classrooms that are easy (and fun) to use! I am very glad that I was able to find out about so many apps that I can use in my future classroom to increase my students' learning. I was very impressed with how easy it was to make a trailer on imovie and how fun it was to make an Adobe Spark Page. I am glad that this class gave me many new programs to use in my classroom!
